Guide to Web Hosting with Cheap Renewal & Fixed Pricing

While it’s easy to find quality web hosting that’s cheap at first and then expensive on renewal; you can save more & keep quality with fixed renewal prices.

This is my guide to the cheapest & best hosting renewal deals in 2024.

Cheap Web Hosting Renewal

Let me introduce FastComet Cloud — my favorite low-cost hosting company.

As one of the newer companies founded in 2013; they have taken fixed low-cost pricing to a level not seen before in the hosting industry & I’m not kidding.

To sum it up; they keep the industry-standard $3.95/month for new sign ups AND renewals with plenty of added value in the mix. These are the specs;

  • Cheapest hosting plan sign up; from $3.95/month
  • Cheapest hosting plan renewal; from $3.95/month
  • Domain included free for lifetime; save $13.95/year
  • SSL certificate free for lifetime; save $69.00/year
  • SpamExperts™ spam filter; save $1.00/month

And a whole lot more goodies;

Like free daily backups, free website transfer service, unmetered traffic, fast SSD storage, advanced website optimization & security features.

Not forgetting 24/7/365 support; both live chat & by toll free phone.

OK — enough praise! Let’s compare their cheap hosting renewal cost with 14 other randomly selected, major web hosting companies.

Hosting Company Initial Cost Renewal Cost
FastComet $3.95/m $3.95/m
Bluehost $3.95/m $7.99/m
GoDaddy $3.99/m $6.99/m
A2 Hosting $3.92/m $7.99/m
HostGator $3.95/m $6.95/m
SiteGround $3.95/m $9.95/m
DreamHost $7.95/m $7.95/m
GreenGeeks $3.95/m $9.95/m
InMotion Hosting $5.99/m $7.99/m
Hosting24 $3.99/m $5.99/m
Just Host $3.95/m $9.49/m
iPage $1.99/m $7.99/m
HostMonster $4.95/m $9.49/m
HostPapa $3.95/m $7.99/m
FatCow $3.15/m $8.95/m

And does such cheap renewal prices come with a catch?

Sure they do.

It’s the same catch with all the other web hosting companies.

To get their cheapest price; you will need to signup for a 3year (36months) upfront plan. But remember, renewal pricing is fixed so it doesn’t matter which plan you choose, you will end up paying much less for renewals than competition.

And if you are uncomfortable with being charged for such a long commitment; they do have a 45 day money back guarantee — no questions asked.

The basic web hosting plan pricing is;

  • Monthly plan; $5.95/m ($71.40/year) + $19.95 Setup Charge
  • 12 month (Yearly) plan; $5.95/m ($71.40/year)
  • 24 month (2 years) plan; $4.95/m ($118.80/year)
  • 36 month (3 years) plan; $3.95/mo ($142.20/year)

Remember that the renewal cost stays the same for lifetime.

Also worth noting is that FastComet offers a choice of 7 different data center locations around the world. So that you can get cheap renewal prices for;

  • North America in Chicago (US) & Dallas (US)
  • Europe in London (UK), Frankfurt (Germany) & Amsterdam (Netherlands)
  • Asia-Pacific in Tokyo (Japan) & Singapore

So there’s my recommendation for web hosting with a cheap renewal charge.

    • Thanks for the honest comment.

      You’re correct!

      Since I originally wrote this post, FastComet has changed from a fixed monthly free to bait and switch and removed the free domain.

      Seems their honest and fair hosting plans were a marketing plot to begin with, from what they currently offer I can no longer recommend them.

      The year changes automatically, sorry for the confusion.
