KeyCDN Alternative: My Experience of Best Alternatives

Personally, my experience with KeyCDN has not been good and I’ve found out that better alternatives exist — here’s my take on KeyCDN alternative & why.

KeyCDN Alternatives

Initially I was not satisfied how KeyCDN performed for my blog.

I got an unclear response to my complaint, them saying how CDNs might not always improve page load times. Well, I found out that this was just not true in my case, as other KeyCDN alternatives outperformed them.

Although common, the other problem was misleading pricing.

With a $49/year minimum deposit, their seemingly low-cost rates are only valid for heavy users. Let’s say an average visitor uses 2MB of traffic — with the $0.04/GB rate, you need at least 50,000visitors/month to use up the $49.

Otherwise you loose the remaining deposit, after the end of a 1 year term.
